B & E Consulting employees individuals who have experience and education in biological and environmental sciences, with a wide range of specialties including Conservation Biology, Environmental Law/Policy, Wildlife Management, Botany and Avian Biology. Our carefully selected employees embody qualities to provide superior service including creativity, attention to detail, ability to work well as part of a team and an understanding of the challenges our clients face. New employees undergo extensive training in the classroom and the field. We are dedicated to continuing education by attending conferences, workshops and obtaining new certifications and species authorizations. Additionally, all of our management staff are trained biologists.
Glen Church, Jr., President and Chief Biologist, has over 12 years of experience in environmental services and is a widely recognized biologist in the field of environmental compliance. His years of working in the commercial fishing industry in Alaska led him to pursue his degrees in Environmental Sciences and Biology. Afterwards, he began his career working in the environmental consulting industry, learning the challenges of development in sensitive areas. In 2008, Glen founded B & E Consulting to better address the needs of clients and biologists alike. His years of experience in the industry has afforded him an excellent working relationship with numerous personnel, including the California and Nevada sectors of the Bureau of Land Management, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Nevada Department of Wildlife, California Department of Fish and Game and US Geological Surveys.
Dr. Glen Church, Sr., Director of Operations, received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. During his years of practice in Las Vegas, Dr. Church provided professional services to NDOW and at one time served as the only desert tortoise veterinarian in the Las Vegas Valley.
Austin B. Church, Vice President, is a Las Vegas native who currently resides in Louisiana. He received degrees in Biology and Business from Washington State University. He heads the marketing and client services division of the firm, bringing over 20 years of business development experience in the biological sciences.
Kristi Holcomb, Manager and Lead Biologist, holds a degree in Conservation Biology and has over 7 years of field experience. Through her experience working with US Fish and Wildlife Service and B & E Consulting, she has developed an excellent rapport with Agencies and gained expertise in a variety of areas, including desert tortoises, bats, Migratory Bird Treaty Act compliance and preparation of Biological Assessment documentation.
